I found their work to be effective, educative and extremely well done. Ten Ten are responding to a real and tangible need for resources which place the gift of sexual relations within the context of marriage and which help young people to realistically understand the joy and responsibility of parenthood. They promote values which support Catholic education and I highly commend their work.”

I was very impressed. Their productions manage to communicate issues that matter greatly to young people for their well-being in a powerful way.”

Ten Ten is a very well-run charity and its work so far has been both excellent and quite consistent with their initial objectives… Operating in difficult regulated environments, Ten Ten have demonstrated flexibility and determination in ensuring that the show must go on.”

I watched all three plays and attended the parent’s session. I thought the content of each and every play excellent and very relevant. Both children and adults alike were spellbound by the performances. The messages were clear and I was personally deeply moved by each play. The two actors gave excellent performances and were completely believable in their characters. I was bowled over by the whole thing and would very much hope that this would be an annual occurrence for St Mary’s. I was also impressed with the materials and resources prior to the performance and post performance. Thank you for these. It certainly made the class teacher’s workload much easier. The parent session was invaluable, allowing them to see the quality of the content of the material as well as the performances. The feedback from parents was very positive and some of them were also deeply moved.”

I can’t commend highly enough the verve and energy of your company. A myriad of complex issues were handled with sensitivity, without lecturing or castigating. We all know that the message we are sending does not yield overnight results; we are, after all, in this life for the long game but I am convinced that the message conveyed will impact on very many lives here. The belief that your company transmitted today will last in our hearts for a very long time.”

The theatre company have achieved a reputation for excellence and meaningful work which other companies strive for and rarely achieve.”

I think being in love is firstly about being patient. People talk about love at first sight. I believe that there is no such thing. I think, even though I am no expert, that in love it won’t just happen straight away, neither will it happen on your first boyfriend / girlfriend. You have to be prepared to both give everything.”

Being cherished isn’t about someone saying they love you or proving that they do. It’s about the day to day things and always wanting the best for the other person, no matter the consequences for yourself.”

I learnt that having a ‘healthy heart’ isn’t just about exercise but also about family and friends and being kind to other people. The play was very emotional and it got the message across.”

Two of your actors were in my school last Friday presenting the three primary plays to our children and parents. Frankly, I have to say that what they did was absolutely fantastic for everyone concerned. I was tremendously impressed with its relevance to people of today and more specifically to the lives of our pupils. Thanks so much to you and to them for uplifting us all and giving us so much to build on with the children. I have been Headteacher here at Sacred Heart for over nine years and in all that time I cannot recall any event impressing me or connecting with me in the way yours did.”

All three plays were superbly acted and the messages were clear. All in all I cannot think of a better way of presenting these issues to young people. No one would have felt lectured to and yet they will have picked up very positive messages about self respect and thinking about the consequences of actions. They were given an insight into how boys and girls think differently and have a different emotional response to issues. I think the scripts were brilliant and had a real depth, especially in ‘Babies’. Without making it explicit the tragedy of abortion was dramatised extremely powerfully and what led up to it was shown, in its reality, as a complex mixture of weakness, fear, external pressure, expectations and immaturity. Pupils, I think, were left feeling for both characters but resolved, I hope, to avoid such a heartbreaking outcome for themselves or the person they come to love.”

As a Catholic marketer of 20 years, I’ve come in contact with literally hundreds of Catholic ministries and organizations. The evangelistic and catechetical approach of Ten Ten Theatre is clearly among the most effective that I have seen. The leaders of this important apostolate clearly “get it”, in that they have a great love for Jesus Christ and the Church, yet also know how to speak the language of the age. They know all too well that, at times, we need to be “all things to all men for the sake of the Gospel”, as St. Paul tells us. They do this in a manner that is completely faithful to Catholic teaching, but by no means heavy-handed. I expect them to continue to yield great fruit as they carry out the Church’s call for a new evangelization.”

I cannot sing your praises loud enough! The work you and your team are doing is absolutely vital and of tremendous value to our society… especially our Catholic family! I have spoken with the Director of Education and I have emphasised how important it is to see the powerful presentations on the topics you presented. You will definitely be contacted to give a presentation to the Headteachers in the Diocese. I look forward to sharing in the work you are so ably doing to support so many.”
Pamela Singh, Westminster Diocesan Education Adviser
Very funny, gut-wrenchingly sad, and thought-provoking. It’s one of those plays that has you arguing in the bar afterwards.”
