Our Relationship Education programme runs on a two-year cycle (Cycle A and B). Each year, we will deliver three theatre-in-education resources for Years 1 to 6 over the course of one day (or two days for schools with three-form entry or more).

YEARS 1 & 2

CYCLE A

Ellie is searching for happiness. She searches in her toy-box. She searches in her bedroom. She searches in her pencil case. She even searches up in the clouds. But she can’t find happiness anywhere. What Ellie doesn’t realise is that happiness is right there, present in the actions of love all around her. And more importantly... Ellie can create happiness herself!

UP IN THE CLOUDS is a resource which enables children to consider how actions can speak a language of love.

CYCLE B

Billy has had enough of people telling him what to do. He never gets to have the things that he wants. He is sick of rules. So much so that he wants to live in a world with no rules—a world of freedom! However, when his wish is suddenly granted, Billy starts to realise that “freedom” is not all that he hoped it would be and, before long, chaos ensues.

FREEDOM FIGHTER helps children to understand the importance of rules and to see that true “freedom” comes when you are not bound by urges and desires.
