OUR ETHOS

At the core of the work of Ten Ten Theatre is an underlying Catholic-Christian ethos. We believe that young people should be given every opportunity to live life, life to the full.

Ten Ten works with people in both faith and non-faith communities. It is our aim to give our audiences the opportunity to discover their own innate worth and value, and subsequently look for the innate value and worth in others and the world around them.

Through our theatre-in-education work we aim to explore:

• the nature of love and personal responsibility;
• the value of commitment, marriage and family life;
• the dignity of human life;
• the need for respect;
• the issue of rights and responsibilities;
• the importance of community;
• the preciousness of the wider world.

We believe that our audiences are physical, social, moral and cultural people. Through drama, we aim to support and nurture their development.
